Grim Reaperz est un collectif de beatmakers créé en 2010 par Crown et Oxydz.
Leur premier album « Fuck U » où se rassemblent différents artistes comme King Magnetic (AOTP), Nine, Les Zakariens, Scylla, Furax ou encore L'Hexaler qui leurs permettra d’obtenir la confiance de l’artiste Américain Seek. En découle une nouvelle sorti en 2011 avec l’album « 6 Dayz Of Torture ». S’en suivra plusieurs apparitions dans des albums comme « Fear Of A Snak Planet » de Snak The Ripper ou sur des compilations.
En 2012 et pour les années qui vont suivres, le rythme s’intensifie, on les retrouve dans des featuring aux 4 coins de la planète et voit un nouveau membre, Cystic, intégrer le banc.
Abraxxas, Snowgoons, Scylla, Inglourious Bastardz, Guizmo, Mokless ou encore Demi Portion. Les collaborations pleuvent et ils deviennent rapidement des incontournables de la scène Hiphop et sortent une séries d’albums baptisé « Blood Legs ».
En 2013, Oxydz quitte l’équipe et intègre Supervillain. Le nouveau trio réunis par l’amour du son rassemblent leurs techniques et produisent pour de nombreux artistes influents de la scène underground hiphop et emmènent un univers différent de leurs parcours solo. Brut, sombre et énergique, ils convaiquent nombreux artistes importants et se voient apparaitrent sur des albums tel que Ali (Lunatics), Lacraps, Scylla, Killakikitt, Army Of The Pharahos (AOTP) et produisent l’album Zapatista de Emcee Killa.
Depuis, l’équipe ne cesse de produire encore et encore avec toujours autant de passion. « The Cycle » l’Ep d’Infamous Mobb, l’album remix « Mixture » et des projets en cours qui risquent à nouveau de faire trembler les fans de Hiphop du monde entier.

Grim Reaperz are a duo of hip hop producers from the French underground rap scene, consisting of Oxydz and Crown.
Together with a mutual love for hip-hop citing influence from producers
such as Alchemist, Stoupe and DJ Premier, they decided to collaborate
and eventually merge their skills together under a new name, Grim Reaperz.
Oxydz and Crown are well known for using unique samples uncommon to hip-hop production which create a very diverse but distinctly original brand of music.
Grim Reaperz have worked with some of the most influential underground hip-hop MC's from across the globe,
including Raekwon and the supergroup Army of The Pharaohs.
Crown has been a DJ since 1998 and began producing in 2004. Crown's first album, Just Listen, included features from
Raekwon, Main Flow and Brooklyn Academy. Crown is also closely affiliated with Scylla (Belgium) and produced the first
“MC vs Beatmaker” video. He has collaborated on two tracks on the acclaimed Army of The Pharaohs album The Unholy Terror,
"Agony Fires" and "Dead Shall Rise". Crown has worked with artists from a wide range of countries, including South Korea,
Canada and The United States. Crown is known and respected for his ability to create tracks using complex combinations
of chopped samples that come from wide-ranging genres of music.
Oxydz has been been involved in hip-hop production since 1995. He released his first track in 1999,
“L'art d'utiliser son savoir”. Soon after he began collaborating with a various range of MC's from
the French underground hip-hop scene, such as 2Bal, Sages Poetes de la Rue, Expression Direct, as well as many others.
After producing over 100 tracks between 2007 and 2009 Oxydz started to focus on expanding his music beyond the
underground hip-hop scene in France. Oxydz utilizes samples, sampled and pitched live instrument lines as well as his
personal collection of synthesizer presets, to produce dark, rich and melodic tracks. He is also an accomplished audio
engineer as well as a designer and webmaster.
